Aerobridge hits QF63 (A380) at SYD

What is it with all the errant air bridges running into aircraft?
Oh wait, it must be QANTAS' fault!!
Do we suspect a lack of ongoing training, or just normal training to be done.
A 737 or a 380 is a damn big bit of kit when you are driving an airbridge - how can you not see it??????
The average driver of an airbridge would be, what, 1 meter from the edge of the bridge!!!!!
Have we located a blind spot with airbridges in Australia??

Out of curiosity, who operates these airbridges in Sydney?
I'm going to assume (yeah I know, don't assume!) it is Swissport or one of the contractors? Or are they run by QF staff????

Less than 2 hour turnaround?
They try but rarely hit it.
This mornings QF81 was scheduled for 1110, 2 hrs after the incoming QF12 docked at the gate.
Ended up about an 1135 pushback.

Gate 10 is pretty horrid at the moment. Almost no place to stand due to all the hoardings and speakers that barely work.

The original gate 10 was my favourite.
