Jos the new Boss…? 🤔
I read an interview a couple of years ago with Christian that looked at Max's rise through the ranks.Christain, who raced against Max's mum Sophie said while Max had his father's aggression, thankfully he had his mother's racing brain. Even Alan Jones wasn't complimentary of Jos. And even as F1 is all about money how long would someone like Jos last?

20 years at or near the top so it was a good run for him and RB.
Nothing goes forever, HAM thought changing teams would help.
VCARB and Alpine thinks changing drivers helps
Ferrari changes bosses like underpants.

Dejabrew did you see the movie?

Interesting analysis of PIA’s Silverstone penalty by Jolyon Palmer -:

Bottom line? Way too harsh.
Yes saw this very in depth technical analysis. But then saw the F1 show in which Crofty and Damon Hill agree with the penalty. Even the experts can’t agree on this one.

Dejabrew did you see the movie?
Yes! Finally got to it last night.

Enjoyed it overall. Glad I got to see it in 4DX, but in saying that, knowing now what it's like in 4DX, I'd be just as happy watching it in normal seating.

Agree with what others have said to date about the.... umm.... not so great bits -:
  • Complete accuracy? 🤣🤣
  • Original storyline? 🤣🤣
  • Ability for cars to follow closely and easily overtake? 🤣🤣
  • Entirely unnecessary love story? ✅
However, the following were done very well IMHO....
  • Immersive racing cinematography
  • Cameo appearances.... mostly.... (noting the odd cameo that delivered a slightly more "they're obviously acting" feel)
  • Intertwining the story/visuals with the actual races
  • Making it (mostly) readily accessible to non-fans
I also chuckled at the slightly tongue-in-cheek lampooning of Drive To Survive 😜

Intending to go and see it again and hopefully absorb more from a second viewing.
