Has anyone opened a bank account recently with an itin ?
Yes USBank Business account and SoFi

History is definitely present before ITIN

Does wise bank statement work for us Amex verification ?
I don’t think it has worked for a while - most people use HSBC instead - worth a try if need to

Just tried applying for the CIBP. Automatic denial with below wording..

"We’re unable to approve your application. You'll receive a letter with more information about our decision within 7 to 10 days."

I put in engineering services as business type (as its close to what I actually do) 2k monthly spend, 24k annual revenue.

Any thoughts or advice, I assume I can try reconsideration?
So I called Chase Recon and they told me primary reason for denial was because i was already on 5/24.

Reason being I was an authorsied user on my P2 amex card back in Jan 2024. The card was never even activated and was terminated. Anyone have any ideas on what to do? Give up? Or try and call recon again? Or contact Amex to make sure iam removed as an authorized user? thanks

I was on the same boat as you but able to recon and get Chase Biz. You just need to look for my previous post which about a month ago.

as @levelnine pointed out - and for anyone still afraid of Oversea transaction fee-

3% on 6K is $180 then you get 1.5% cash back on everything - so it's just like a $90 Annual fee for the SUB.

So it's a no Brainer - Go after it.

I spent almost 1 hour on recon line on Sunday and the person was convinced - saying she took all the notes and they would reconsider it.

Tuesday I got approved. Card is on the way.

The reason I applied Ink Unlimited is because I had 3 rejections for Ink Preferred already - so Thinking of an "easier to get" card - I am 5/24 with 1 authorized card so always have to call in for Recon and dispute.
Just reading through your notes now. Very helpful.

I was wondering how long you left it to apply for another chase business card after getting a rejection? You mentioned you had 3 rejections on the ink preferred..

To be honest there is some lower hanging fruit in the Aus credit card market I can get P2 to apply for today and iam leaning towards letting the Chase Ink preferred application go instead of wasting ages on the recon line.. reason being I am getting teh card specifically for a 7k aud air bnb transaction and that will likely cause its own headache knowing how easy it is for chase to decline transactions..

Few months in between each rejections

Recon should be able to disregard authorised user. Cards .
