One of my fav. cities in Poland.

For meals, check out these places - they're each in a different class/level and we enjoyed meals at all of them.

An interesting place to head for a drink also is Wiśniewski Gdańsk Wiśniewski Gdańsk · Piwna 22, 80-831 Gdańsk, Poland , which specialises in cherry liquer drinks of all sorts.

Boo hiss. I’ll probably get banned if I say what I really want to. Having said that it wasn’t the best hot chocolate I’ve had.

I didn't have the hot chocolate.

Something cooler and something else to replace all the calories I’ve expended walking up the bloody hills in the heat. 😎

Walked 10 minutes or so from our great apartment to Dominikanska and had a great schnitzel- after a month of eating out I am looking for "plain food"

Last few days in Cornwall before I leave.

I probably should’ve stayed home and sorted all the stuff I need to cull but there’s always tomorrow and if I don’t, I’ll just throw it in the car and worry about it later

Both houses were historic houses of UK members and I had joined that so I’ve certainly got my money’s worth worth out of that. They were also both still family homes so we weren’t able to take photos which I always find quite disappointing.

Prideaux Place the guide for this tour was one of the family and apart from being a bit dippy and pretentious, she was very good

Definitely check out Bar Turystyczny then, it's a milk bar / cafeteria style place and as homey as it gets. I understand eating out fatigue when travelling very much!

Pencarrow house Pencarrow House and Family Friendly Gardens in Cornwall

Just an additional comment.

Both of these houses are privately owned and of course they need quite a lot of money for upkeep.

They are both used for filming. Pencarrow apparently was used for an ad that Dawn French did for Coles in Australia. It’s also been used for Doc Martin.

Prideaux Place is used to film a number of books set in Cornwall and several times they have actually repainted rooms for a particular series. The lady who was the guide was very pragmatic about this being a family home and things get broken
