Im still confused the editor found 8 minutes to make a video.
 
I was mildly tonugue in cheek, but turn 1 run the other way would be a little more available to passing. Similarly with the last turn before the tunnel becoming the last one after the tunnel.
 
I chuckled at Max's comments...

Verstappen acknowledged that F1 and the FIA had to try something to make the Monaco race more interesting, but didn't feel it worked.

"Of course I get it, but I don't think it has worked," Verstappen told Sky Sports F1. "You can't race here anyway, so it doesn't matter what you do. One stop, 10 stops. Even at the end I was in the lead, but my tyres were completely gone, and you still can't pass. I think nowadays, with an F1 car, you can just pass a Formula 2 car around here.

"We were almost doing Mario Kart. Then we have to install bits on the car. Maybe you can throw bananas around. Yeah, I don't know. Slippery surface."

Almost time for the racing to resume again after the annual parade.

I did watch a video that very simply pointed out why Monaco will never be cut in its current situation and all he had to do was pan his camera over the water and point at how many billions of dollars are floating right there as to why it's on the calendar.
 
What an ending to the race with all the drama. Will be interesting to see what comes out of it at the end.

Congrats to oscar for driving a pretty solid race overall but man the drama behind the podium.
 
Was a nice leisurely watch of Oscar managing the race until the safety car arrived...was worried it might go pear shaped on the restart...
All good for him, but yes, the chaos behind.....crazy!
At least the coverage went back to Oscar for the last couple of turns before checkers

Saw some Reddit threads pre race and it was all "NOT MY HADJRE", "Please no RBR demotion".
 
Outside of the safety car situation, PIA had a pretty much textbook race. Get the launch and stay ahead with the fastest car. NOR botched the start again and basically didn't have a chance again until the SC. But given they were both on same lap softs, it would've still been hard for him to attack PIA post restart.

VER and RBR drove a very solid race until SC and he was basically screwed due to their strategy. There had to have been some miscommunication, I don't think he would've come in for new Hards and you can see his surprise as soon as he left the stop. Suspect that's whrre all the frustration started and also with LEC bumping him as well as RUS. Seems like the decision after was that he did NOT have to give the position back to RUS. The incident after was clearly his frustration at probably everything and seems lenient he didn't get a black flag or raceban for Canada (FIA only gave him a 3 point penalty leaving him with 1).

HUL getting P5 is an awesome achievement and it was very amusing to see his Sauber overtake HAM who had an awful weekend and quite sad to see him so dejected post race. ALO also got his first points of the year and was making some moves.

Lastly for me Rosberg in the commentary was quite insightful. Lots of comments and analysis that he catches as a champion and is also extremely familiar with the track. There's probably some more synergy with Crofty needed but his analysis was a very nice to listen to all weekend and would lkke to see him at more races. (Like NOR's 2nd Q3 lap which despite being faster, Nico called out all the mistakes he was making in real time whilst seeing PIA making a nearly flawless lap).
