Any one know if the Sydney Premium Entry is open on public holidays? I have a flight on Anzac Day and don't want to walk down there to find it's closed. Website says Monday to Friday but no mention of public holidays. Thanks

It should be, in the past on public holidays they’ve kept normal weekday hours but who knows if they still do. I guess the only thing is to walk down find out and report back, mind you if you pass by the terminal and the normal queues are minimal or the downstairs security you can still find out if it’s open by taking a look once in the lounge.

I can confirm Sydney Premium Entry was open last Friday, despite being a public holiday.

PER lounge last Sunday had waffle fries in the warmer. It's not quite the pizza over the other side of the runway, but was a welcome change to the usual pastas. Toastie press in high demand.

Sydney lounge was filthy last Saturday to the point I emailed Virgin customer relations. Crumbs everywhere, tissues wedged in seats.

Compared to the Melbourne lounge which clearly had some effort put into its appearance.

Probably some.people should not be allowed in lounges or indeed on board aeroplanes the way they treat furniture. Even when the tables get cleaned when sitting at them I notice with disappointed that no one seems to say a simple "thankyou" all being to Interested in their own self importance. It's sad actually. Interested to see if you get a response from VA though on the points raised.

I did. They said they'd raise it with lounge management. Will be interesting to see if there's an improvement next week.

Perhaps we won't see so many of them in 12 months with the huge status credits changes. A potential positive 🤣
Yes spot on.

Just us WPs that stumble to SG, but another 12months down the track eligible elites may have spotless tables due to low numbers within the frosted doors.
