Another SYD transit query: QF to TG

Hi all.

Very long time lurker, first time poster.

I'm about to book a MEL-BKK-VTE flight on Thai. The Thai website includes an option of MEL to SYD on QF410 (07:00-08:25) connecting to TG476 at 10:00 (this is for this coming Sunday morning). This is my preferred option to get to VTE same day. However, it is only a short 1:35 connection time and I've never done a domestic to international transfer in SYD.

Will Qantas check baggage all the way through from MEL? Is this really a viable transit time?

Experience/advice much appreciated!

Yes if its all under one e-ticket and PNR you will be fine, bags will be checked all the way through to BKK. And you can also use the international transfer bus when arriving in Sydney.

@mikecharlie , but not the Qantas terminal transfer bus. The Sydney Airport TBus is on arrival level after baggage collection
