Wonder why some are listed and others aren't - must be an "opt in" feature?

With offers like the Four Seasons one where you can use it twice, does anyone see an issue just splitting a larger payment into two in order to maximise the benefit?

That is pretty standard every year. So far this year I am 3/3 credits for restaurants not supposedly part of the offer.
