Just checking a price on a flight, at the bottom noticed this logo on the bottom right ...

nestle-logo.gif

and the link goes to "http :// test "

A sign of things to come!! even when purchasing tickets! Maybe when we ring up QFF Centre they will start announcing ads too

I saw that too, but thought it must have been some kind of error. Be interesting to see what changes from here.

BA's website has had ads for a while.

It's an additional revenue source for an airline, so expect it to happen more on the major carrier websites.

I noticed that today too, though thought maybe I just hadn't been paying attention before.

That said, it seems odd. Are there going to be many people that click thinking hmm, I need to buy some baby formula while looking for flights? And what's the revenue proposition? A few cents per click? Odd...

Yeah it would most likely be a Cost Per Click deal for something like that.

Good to see though. If they make some extra money there it'll help limit how much they gouge us on fares. Or am I being naive? :P :)

Nestle normally advertise their brands rather than the company. When the Qantas million point for three nestle products was on, they did have to say what the brands were.
