QANTAS will have to wait until December for the delivery of its next two Airbus A380s, after encountering flight stability problems with one of the jumbos, which had been expected to start flying on the US route next month.

The airline confirmed the 450-seat jet would need to undergo further tests at the Airbus factory in Toulouse.

Naturally, there's a throwaway reference to flight trim issues, suggesting that the aircraft can't fly straight - will be interesting to see if that's twisted into the tempting derogatory headline by other sources.

Personally, I'd like to see a group photo of the six (when these arrive) QF A380s. Now that would be cool.
