Apologies if this has already been posted.

Got this flicked onto me from a pilot friend.

Background is that DJ have been having some teething problems with the E-jets, AFAIK nothing major or out of the ordinary just a few stranded planes going U/S (once in Hobart when I was supposed to fly out on it coincidentally ), a few aborted take offs, brakes failing on landing etc - nothing huge (esp compared to the US carriers issues with them).

But apparently they have a bit of a joke rep with the DJ engineers... and so now check out this joke clip.... is pretty hilarious... Made me laugh...!

EDIT: Pick your favourite line!

Mine is: 'We'd make more revenue from the E-jets if we cut the wings off and sold them as caravans!'

Haha that is great. The caravan line is a winner.

:lol::lol::lol:

OK thats possibly the funniest thing ever posted here!!

'Don't worry we'll still have the BBQ every Friday at the Village*' FTW!!

*for those not in the know village = virgin HQ and they have a 'fun' BBQ pretty much every week.

Love it

" I only bought Brazilian because the girl on the sales video had bigger cough than Beoing and no hairy armpits like Airbus"

childish but hilarious!!!

(although the movie clip is actually from a really good WWII movie - one of the best ive seen. The editor has taken a heavily dramatic scene and turned it into a circus show - love it )

* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BF_P77VEPKA&NR=1 is not quite as funny but i love the line " They'd sell that fat useless whale plane to anyone with a bank account"

Thanks for posting! Loved the clip!!

So if the ejets are problematic what will Virgin replace them with when the time comes?

Thats ok!

AFAIK DJ are just having teething issues with the E-jets and some ongoing reliability problems which have led to the creation of this clip having a dig at the. I haven't heard of it being anything major, just an annoyance for them.

I do know they were aware that other airlines had much bigger issues with the E-jets before they added them to their fleet so DJ were probably able to forecast manage down alot of the problems others are having - a quick google of 'Jetblue embraer issues' will bring up pages and pages - still an ongoing problem for them....
