[significance]

Townsville QC has declined further. They went from couches to plastic bucket chairs some time ago — presumably so they could fit more in, and now they have resorted to wooden school chairs. And the music still at party volume. Unless you’re after a glass of wine or a snack, you’re almost better off on the concourse.

I use my PP outside and then bring that food into the lounge. I try and get a seat in the old conference meeting room, usually quiet in there

The expansion of the departure lounge outside has cut into Qantas lounge … I guess the are trying squeeze the existing capacity into the same space

I don hit think the lounge area has changed, though?

Don't remember the music being very loud the last time I was there, which was last December.

Yeah … the area near the window has been reduced. The introduced that angled wall which significantly reduced my window viewing area

Can confirm music is loud today. Sure it’s got a better food selection here but I actually prefer the Emerald Qantas club as it’s got the outside area.
