Jetstar BNE - KIX Direct

I was just looking around on JQ in the other thread for CNS - KIX to see if they would swap it to a 321 and noticed they will have BNE - KIX direct.
A bit of searching for dates and notice this will be schedueld to start in February next year with 4 flights a week on the 788.

JQ 23 BNE - KIX Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri 1145 - 1945
JQ 24 KIX - BNE Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri 2145 - 0725 (+1)

I wonder where this 788 will come from.

It's coming from the BNE-DPS route, from 1 Feb the BNE-DPS flights drop to an A321neo but increase to 10x weekly (Which means BNE-DPS maintains about the same number of total seats minus 25 per week.

Flights to KIX (and ICN) are getting QLD Gov/BNE airport subsidies. Until BNE-KIX starts direct in Feb you can expect to see JQ15 operate BNE-CNS-KIX a bit more at which point JQ15 will operate MEL-CNS-KIX some of the days.
