To start by answering my own question.. I guess I should be addressing Qantas on this but it's not just my Safari that can't access the QFF site, *is it*?

It's a pain in the cough to go to Opera for just that and nothing else.

Anyone got any information on this that may help?

Safari is apparently supported by the Qantas website.

Which version are you using?

Also, what do you get when you access this page:
Viewing Tips

(It's a browser test page on the Qantas site).

Request Entity Too Large
A request entity is longer than the server can handle.

That sounds more like a website back-end problem, rather than a problem with your browser. I've seen it before at various times on the Qantas website when doing certain searches/operations etc.

I suppose the standard troubleshooting should be done (if you havn't already)
Clear Browser Cache.
Delete any Qantas cookies

Try again.

Could also be an issue with your FF account.

Using Safari 4.x.x on an intel iMac running Snow Leopard and all fine here.

Notzac, Mal,

Safari 4.03. OS10.5.8

I just tried Safari on my PC and was able to view a booking.

However, I was getting that same error in Firefox while trying to make an award booking.

I suspect an error at the server.

I find the most problems when I try to OLCI, its usually ok until you hit check-in.qantas.com and then the wheels fall off... Server never responds in time.

(and yeah tried multiple browsers, fast connection, usual troubleshooting etc)
