He's being replaced by the head of the airport. It would be like QF CEO being replaced by QF Group Executive, Associated Airlines and Services.

I foresee something over the top, in a way that QSuites blasted the competition when it debuted.

After all, they've had time to see the competition take shape (or taking shape) around them.

Sounds like he’s undoing a few of his predecessor‘s decisions - many never made a lot of sense eg he was never a fan of First class - period.

Perhaps the changes at the top of QR and QF might open the door to new negotiations?
