Travelling on a BA part Avios / part cash redemption ticket in QF J SYD-MEL; flight cancelled due to Sydney storms.
QF have rebooked me into Y next day.
Not a biggie, but anyone know the best approach to get the Avios/cash difference refunded to reflect actual class of travel? Is it the airline that issued the ticket (BA) or the airline that downgraded (QF) who I should be speaking to?

This happened to me a few years ago. The approach was to contact BA online, provide a copy of the boarding pass showing the downgrade and they then recredited the diference of Avios between J and Y.
