QF35 (1250 hours MEL-SIN) has a pretty good punctuality record but on 2 January didn't become airborne until 1345. A332 VH-EBC is suggested as arriving at its gate at about 1821, 37 minutes behind schedule.

It was a technical issue that grounded it. A replacement aircraft from LAX was brought into cover it.
Since then a flight plan was loaded to position back to SYD empty, but this flight was later cancelled and it has remained on the ground since.

As noted above, the PER_MEL sector will be 738 operated with Qantas Flight Status showing delay of 4 hours 45 minutes for an 18:40 AWST departure and 00:50 AEST arrival in Melbourne Tuesday morning. Overall delay between the arrival from LHR & PER depart is thus 6 hours plus.

This estimated arrival has slipped to 13:05 AWST, however this shouldn't impact on the turn-around to operate this evenings QF9 PER-LHR due to depart at 16:50 AWST.
Does mean Melbourne bound passengers will have slightly less time in Perth before their B738 connecting flight.

Monday : the departure from Santiago of the overnight QF28 SCL-SYD (B789 VH-ZNG) was delayed 132 minutes, with ETA Sydney now 19:49 AEDT, 119 minutes late.

Meanwhile the Sunday evening QF94 LAX-MEL has been delayed 23 hours 25 minutes with new departure 20:30 PST Monday, and new Melbourne ETA of 06:20 AEDT Wednesday.

I noticed QF41 from Sydney to Jakarta today (Mon 2 Jan) has been seriously delayed, from 13h55 scheduled time to 20h00. Does anyone know the reason for this?

I noticed QF41 from Sydney to Jakarta today (Mon 2 Jan) has been seriously delayed, from 13h55 scheduled time to 20h00. Does anyone know the reason for this?

From what I can see, A333 VH-QPG has been inoperable for a long time. It may be under heavy maintenance, repair or rejuvenation as according to FlightAware, it's been in Brisbane since 13 April 2022 - a long time.

A333 VH-QPE has been in SYD since 0712 AEDT this morning, ex QF24 from BKK.

QF104 from HNL down to SYD is expected to arrive tonight in the early evening at 1939 hours, 59 minutes behind schedule.

VH-QPI is in Auckland NZ having run QF145, and presumably is returning as QF148 that should arrive SYD at 1950 hours tonight if not earlier, as 'the 145' was timely.

As you also state, QF20 noted above was badly late today, arriving SYD at 1631 hours not long ago with VH-QPJ.

Of departures, as noted above, QF19 is delayed from lunchtime at 1225 hours to a predicted 1830 from SYD to MNL.

QF41, the 1355 hours to CGT is as you state delayed to form a 2000 hours ex SYD.

The third A333 needed tonight, QF103 to HNL, the 2040 hours is expected to push back in SYD 40 minutes late at 2120 hours.

QF25, the 2135 hours mid evening SYD-HND is expected to punctually depart this evening.

So to use the aviationn nomenclature, there are four 'frames' for four scheduled A333 pushbacks.

Perhaps the attention required to QPE is a cause of one delay, while the very tardy arrival of QF20 has been another factor.

Because the SYD-CGK and SYD-MNL flights are so delayed on 2 January, even though Tuesday is often the quietest weekday, it's peak holidays, so likely there'll be delay(s) ex Sydney tomorrow, perhaps for at least one Asian flight, although QF41 appears to be an A332 that at present is far more often the case than an A333.

However FR24 isn't indicating any delays to QF19/23/25/41/63/81 on 3 January 2023. QF87 (0935 SYD-ICN) is not timetabled tomorrow.

On Monday 2 January, QF19, the badly delayed 1225 hours SYD-MNL has just departed at 1901 hours AEDT, 396 minutes tardy. Aircraft is A333 VH-QPE that as noted above has been in Sydney all day as it arrived on QF24, the ex-BKK redeye.

A332 VH-EBA on QF43, the delayed 1635 hours mid to late afternoon SYD-DPS was taxiing in SYD by 1905 hours.

The third A333 needed tonight, QF103 to HNL, the 2040 hours is expected to push back in SYD 40 minutes late at 2120 hours.

QF25, the 2135 hours mid evening SYD-HND is expected to punctually depart this evening.

QPI is operating QF25. Currrently inbound as QF148 from AKL due at 2020. On time departure at 2135 will be a challenge.

The aircraft operating QF103 is QPH, the inbound QF104, which landed at 1949, 69 mins late.

On 2 January, QF41 is displaying as further delayed to 2100 hours in pushback from SYD for its CGT destination.

QF42 might be able to depart Jakarta on 3 January at the uncomfortable time of 0200 hours.

On 2 January, QF41 (1355 hours SYD-CGK) was in the sky at 2124 mid evening, using A333 VH-QPJ that had arrived extremely late today with QF20 from MNL (see above). CGK arrival is suggested as 0030 on Tuesday 3.

Qantas Flight Status is now showing a follow on, with Tuesday's QF93 SYD-LAX also delayed - the revised Melbourne departure is 10:50 AEDT on Wednesday, a delay of 23 hours 50 minutes, with revised Los Angeles arrival of 06:10 PST, for same delay.

Arriving in MNL as QF19 at 2338 hours on Monday 2 January (368 minutes late), A333 VH-QPE then took off on QF20 on Tuesday 3 at 0144 hours. Predicted SYD arrival becomes 1223 hours early this afternoon, also as luck would have it 368 late.

QF41 reached its CGK gate at 0015 hours this morning, 405 minutes behind schedule, with VH-QPJ airborne as QF42 at 0202 local time (0502 AEDT), so its at gate time into SYD this afternoon should be 1236 hours, 386 minutes behind the timetable.

QF87, the 0935 hours nicely timed day flight SYD-ICN has had good timekeeping most days since its introduction but on 3 January isn't predicted to push back until 1015 hours.

B789 VH-ZNG arrived SYD as QF28 from SCL at 1956 hours, 126 minutes late on 2 January.

A388 VH-OQK on QF2 from LHR was in SIN last night from 1925 hours (115 minutes late) to takeoff at 2149 hours, so today (3 January), forecast SYD at gate arrival becomes 0803 hours, 113 minutes tardy.

QF23, the 1030 hours midmorning SYD-BKK should depart at 1300 this afternoon, 150 minute slate, so QF24 as the redeye tonight back to SYD will be unable to push back much before 2030 mid evening.
