I had plenty of time in Doha but didn't go in search of this. (Probably because I didn't know it existed.) What a pity!

Another place I'd told them to visit and we are going to the Christmas markets there next year. You need to go to the Audie Murphy memorial. Very moving apparently.

Prices for accommodation doubles/triples for the Christmas markets period - and around a lot of the Alsace TBH. Worth staying at least one night. There are 7 markets spread out over Colmar.

Yes colourbond roofs exist but wife prefers tiles and I do too.

The bars are for security. Not many houses have bars as they are not cheap but we will be away for long periods.
