Sunday September 25 - for the train spotter

Something not to be missed if you're a train spotter in Sydney.

3801 (steam loco) will cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge at 9.15am after going through the Sydney underground.
Will arrive travel the North Shore line arriving Hornsby 10.41am.
Depart Hornsby 10.55am hauled back via Strathfield with 8649 leading.

Sounds awesome, wish I could be there.

So when is the BAM going for another run? Now I'm no longer doing shift work it will be easier to get there.

I have tickets for 3801 on Saturday 1st October (shuttle between Central and Hurstville).

Rumours the BAM has been seen lurking at Goulburn roundhouse.

I have tickets for 3801 on Saturday 1st October (shuttle between Central and Hurstville).

It's in the workshop next door although been lurking up the back of the Roundhouse.

I'm going to move it into the workshop paint booth next month so the outside can be cleaned up and painted.

COVID instantly stopped every social event, so once back out will get the band back together for a ride!
