Agree live chat (to a human not a bot) is the preferred option - pity that has gone.

But of course, the provided solution now is the cheap option, not the good option.
 
I can't complain about Telstra - called them from a small town in Egypt in the middle of nowhere and they answered straight away and (hopefully) sorted all the issues out quickly. Wouldn't recommend the local network that Telstra use for roaming in Egypt - nowhere near the coverage that Vodafone or Orange etc have here.
