Redeeming ANA first class via Virgin Atlantic

I have a heap of Virgin Atlantic miles and wanted to redeem ANA first class

Has any found any first class availability?

Have you booked ANA first class?

Due to it being a mileage 'sweet-spot' this route is super popular with point hackers and widely advertised on blogs etc so can be very competitive i.e. difficult to book!

Agreed but I cannot find any availability at all.

That was my point....

I did a search a while back and found a grand total of one seat available for the following 6 months - they get snapped up immediately if released.

Remember you are competing against thousands and thousands of people setting seat alerts, monitoring websites etc etc.

I feel your pain, well time to burn those flying club points on something else

I have set some alerts but not hopeful as I need 2 seats

Never seen more than 1 award seat so probably Mission Impossible.

I was having a look as well and it looks like they consistently release a few about 2 weeks prior to departure. It is a risky game, but has anyone tried doing this?

I havent but I would need a bit of planning to make sure i can safely get home
