How do I claim travel delay expenses?

I recently flew PER-SYD-BNK and the PER VA flight was delayed so we missed the final flight to BNK for the day by 10 minutes.

VA put us up in the airport hotel and airport staff said to save the taxi receipt to claim the cost of getting to the hotel.

Does anyone know how I would submit this claim or is there an area on the website where you can submit such claims?

Has anybody got a data point on how long they are taking to process claims at the moment? I submitted one 2x weeks ago after being left to fend for myself in Canberra during school hols. Received the generic acknowledgement, but no action as yet.

Over on twitter they are advising 40 business days (so 8 weeks) for processing. I’m waiting on one that was submitted 21 June.

I just got a claim processed for one in early June so 8 weeks sounds about right.
