The view from my "office"

After lunch our Katoomba tour continued with a walk around the top of the cliffs towards the three sisters.

This brought us to a creek above Katoomba falls called the Cascades.

Miss H also spotted this tree demonstrating the wonders of nature.

She also decided to get creative with her photography.

On the final morning our “don’t let the credits expire” long weekend we woke to fine and sunny day.

Yet the entire valley was blanketed in thick cloud/fog.

It looked like someone had filled it up with foam.

Our plan was a short bushwalk along the Fairfax Heritage track to Govetts Lookout.

The track snaked its way through tall eucalypt trees which were all etched with maps of the trail. ;)

We passed a colourful range of native flora.

Finally made it up to Singapore - arrived late on Saturday night. Woke up early this morning, so went out for a walk before the humidity kicked in.

Parliament House looks more like a fortress/bunker - very grand though, and well maintained gardens (it is Singapore after all).

Made my way to Merlion Park.

Walked back across the Cavenagh bridge, interestingly it's the only remaining suspension bridge in Singapore. View across the river towards Boat Quay - I need to remember to head there for dinner one night, the restaurant/bar scene there looks great. Singapore - 1 (4).jpeg

Lunch yesterday with some cellar dwelling escapee's ; Georges Paragon @ Sanctuary Cove
A great lunch venue, maintaining a well earned reputation for food and service.
We remarked on the way home that with no travel , we have become inured to sloppy dgaf non service at eateries and
it was a real pleasure to find a functioning service ethos.. well done Paragon...
