I'm on SQ222 this Wednesday afternoon and would like to know what the current times are like to get through check in and security / customs at the SYD international terminal.

Are people still experiencing the 1+ hour to get through?

Thanks

It took me 11 minutes from kerb to F lounge when travelling on QF1 a couple of weeks ago
Cheers - I'm not travelling F unfortunately but am WP with VA so I'm hoping to bypass some of the masses at check in.

Is the priority screening at customs and security back in operation yet?

Came through Sunday afternoon about 1:00pm. Immigration lines were back almost to the checkin area and express lane wasn’t open. Security moved though fairly well. Luckily I was able to get around a lot of the queue with the APEC Lane.

All good - and no queue at SYD this morning according to my friend who went straight to the QF lounge...
Thanks - seems to hit and miss lately. I'll be there more than 3 hours prior so won't have any issues at this rate.

Cheers

Seems worse in the evening was less than 1 minute when I went through at 5:30am on 22nd April.

Evening data point, Friday, 6 May: Arrived at 1845 (EK flight but QF Gold). Check-in to departure area (via bulky items drop of and dynamite test): 45 mins.
