Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

Two weeks ago I followed up with Qantas to ask why I didn’t get the green leaf for the carbon offset I purchased two weeks before that. Today someone called to say it’ll be credited a week after the flight I offset (25 April). I said that’s not what the T&Cs say, but I didn’t have time to argue the point, so figure I’ll follow up if it doesn’t come through when he says it will.

That is a significant departure - the Ts and Cs are (were?) clear that the carbon offset would credit seven days after it was paid for, not once the flight had been taken.

Ridiculous answer. HUACA???

I was specifically told by the frequent flyer agent in Phillipines, that it was not necessary to have flown, just to have booked. I rebooked a points flight after the ( mis)information I was given, and the tick appeared two days later, well before the flight is booked to happen. My personal theory, without a shred of proof, is that the allocation of QF points is what triggers the tick. My paid offsets were for less than a dollar, so no points trigged. I would be interested to know if others who have not had the offset credit, were also below the $1 threshold for triggering points. Or is it just usual Qantas consistent inconsistency.

I bought the $1 rewards store climate positive delivery which hasn't triggered my final leaf. Reading back through the thread I see I need to purchase an item too.

Has anyone found the cheapest rewards store item?
When searching on my phone it's not possible to list and sort items by price.

Combine it with the charity donation to tick off 2 leaves.

Yes, I purchased that on a reward flight, I've got the leaf for that.

Sorry I should have been more specific - I'm talking about the carbon offset for house & car under the "sustainable lifestyle" category.

Like the charity donation, this is also a 'product' you buy from the Qantas Store, you might be able to add the climate positive delivery to the cart with it.

Same here, qualified for Green on 25th March, award choice appeared 8th April. Took the SCs as I still have a long way to go to Lifetime Gold.

Like others, I have noticed this hasnt shown up Activity Statement / Transaction History which is hopefully just a lag that will resolve so these stick as lifetime status credits.
Any update on whether Green 50SCs have appeared on the Activity Statement / Transaction History?

Guess you've got to get lucky some times.

I am pretty sure I saw mine in the activity statement, but now it seems like it is gone. The SC total is correct in the sense that the 50sc are part of the sum.

As a data point, I was an early adopter and opted for the 10,000 points. These were credited to my total but do not show up on my activity statement and have not counted towards my Pointless Club Plus.

Yes, I purchased that on a reward flight, I've got the leaf for that.
I might just buy a bottle of wine
I purchased a single bottle of wine to get the last green leaf. Chose the 10k points, but not showing yet.
Honestly how hard is it to get these things right & prompt?

You will not get any confirmation and there will be no record that the points have been added - you will just have to remember your balance and spot when it increases by 10k. Mine was immediate on choosing the 10k.
