Well this is not the first time Jayne has been mixed up in questionable behaviour, after her stint at A2 there was much speculation about what went down during her time there.

And I guess this explains the absence of the chief pilot as discussed by our pilot contributors in other threads.

Virgin Australia and its high-flying chief executive Jayne Hrdlicka have been accused of bullying a senior pilot at the airline group in a Fair Work court case.

Captain Michael Fitzgerald launched Federal Court action on Tuesday against the airline.
A Virgin Australia spokeswoman confirmed it was being sued by the company’s former general manager of flight operations after an extended period of personal leave.

The company also confirmed that allegations had been made directly against Hrdlicka, her behaviour and the company.

Bullying and harassment allegations levelled against Virgin Australia boss Jane Hrdlicka​

Virgin Australia chief executive Jayne Hrdlicka is facing serious allegations of bullying and harassment by her former chief pilot.

The Federal Court will hear the case brought by Virgin’s former Chief Pilot who abruptly left the company under mysterious circumstances.

Allegations have been made directly against the airline and also Hrdlicka with Virgin confirming last night they are being sued in the Court.

But the airline defended its treatment of its former employee saying that “Mr Fitzgerald’s interactions with the CEO were solely as part of a professional development initiative to support the improvement of his performance”
