Missing connecting flight due to longer flight time with Finnair.

We had some disruption to our rtw business flights x 4 in June. Finnair made changes to our flights which allow our connections to work albeit we now have 12 hour layovers in NRT and HEL. However on our return leg our Finnair HEL-NRT is 3 hours longer so miss our connecting flight with Japan Air NRT-MEL. Will Japan Airlines organise a flight change? Do we need to contact them?

Presuming they are on the same ticket? They should likely fix that but I'd be calling them because these days even with Qantas the changes they think may be suitable can be dreadful.

Yes it's a One World Award RTW flight.

As it was Finnair that caused the issue, it will be Finnair who need to rectify. I’d be calling them.
