Acquiring one of those large scale 'travel agency' aircraft

Ebay - but it's not cheap

Not cheap and not accurate! I suspect this is a cheap model imported with a bit of a mark-up. The whole plane is wrong in terms of its construction and livery.

I did look into this a couple years ago and found a couple places... a lot of the listings however were historical (items already sold). There is however a forum: Other Scales & Antique Models - DA.C

I can't seem to find the couple sites i was looking at pre-covid. If I track them down I'll post here.

That glass doesn't look like it would withstand a brick. Wait...did you want cheap, easy AND legal? ;)
Amsterdam Police station could have some interesting cellmates

Hobbyco sell a variety of Qantas diecast models not sure any are as large as you are looking for:

And of course the Qantas shop sells similar, which you can buy on points. So if you are points rich, may be a cheaper option:

We used to have a few models in the Customs House at Perth Airport - I am sure that they were 'rescued' when the office was moved.
Working in Fremantle for so long I always wanted one of the very detailed model ships that were in the offices of the big shipping agencies like Dalgety's. They were similar to these ones in the Maritime museum in Bremerhaven
