Just received an email about my two credit vouchers being converted to Qantas Pass , with same expirey date
However the email was addressed to my husband.
His card probably paid for the tickets
I have sent a prompt query to Qantas Twitter but anyone got any ideas why my credit note has my husband's name ?

Head of the household. 😉

The booking under his name or two people or just you?

Makes no difference anyway, it's not matched to a name like the previous vouchers were. It's simply a form of payment.

Both of the tickets were in my name and are under my QF number
So they are usable by anyone ?

Its usually alphabetical, drives me bonkers that my bookings are addressed to my other half.

The Passes are equivalent to cash more or less. Can be used by anyone. There's no restrictions (specially unlike the old flight credits). This actually IS an enhancement (I can't explain the name thing though)

Thank you . That may end up being very helpful enhancement

This is from the Qantas website re the Qantas Pass - ”Your Qantas Pass is issued in the name of the person who paid for the original booking and will be emailed to the primary booking contact provided at the time of booking”.

That is still all me lol
Husband's Qantas card is his only connection to that flight lol

If the card is in his name, then he legally paid for the tickets. I don't see the problem here.

Is there a way to request a credit conversion into a pass? I have a large amount of credits that have myself and my partner in the same PNR. We have some upcoming travel that will be separate and can't use these credits as a result.

I would suggest asking for if. Mine was just a random email advising me what Qantas had done though .

I’ve NOW had 5 flight credits converted to Qantas Passes.... pity they can’t put them all on the one pass.

secondly. Regarding this particular issue, despite the commentary, they will be placed on the booking payers (primary booking contact) account (ie mine), it’s ended up sitting in account of my adult child so I’m none the wiser. However, since it’s now able to be used generically, I’m not that concerned.

now to get the invisible flight credits loaded onto a Qantas Pass...

I too now have one I’d like to use for a QF hotel booking. T&Cs mention flights, but can it be used for a QF hotel?

I've got at least 3 x credits which simply don't appear when I login to Qantas .... does anyone else have this issue?

My gut is telling me that its a 'name' issue ... as every flight I book with Qantas, my name is formatted incorrect ... ie: Joe Matthew Bloggs .. as Joem Bloggs ...

Any thoughts??

Yes, this is a "feature" and very common unfortunately.

I keep track of credits on my own so I know what I have, when it expires, references and so on.
