Not sure if this is useful to anyone, but those familiar with the SYD MRZ QFLink route probably know there is only one Sunday flight which is usually always locked into a high fare class. This Sunday sector doesn't usually even get sale prices, however when the domestic sales are on, those who enjoy a day of flying can earn extra status and points. I guess it's not really HCT seeing as you don't skip sectors, and I probably wouldn't call it nesting either. I'm going to give it the acronym QF FU ticketing. I'll let you fill in the blanks.

It's a nice find, but I can't see any takers giving up an extra 6.5hrs of their time (and 3.5hrs waiting in PQQ) just to save $15.

I wonder where else this kind of anomaly pops up on the QFLink network?

Also works going to Melbourne for around $290 and to Canberra for around $300 where you can get much more direct connections. PQQ is just the cheapest version I've found so far.

I don't think the money savings are the goal!
