New Velocity partner: bundll bnpl

Bundl is worth using. No int fees, and earn points when paying instalments from your Credit card. I use it all the time on Ebay to avoid the scam international fee banks hit us up with on AUD transactions.

Downside Is i only got a 500 limit, and they wont increase that.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

So you can now earn Velocity points with Bundll:

I tried to create an account. However, for a good hour or so the app kept on crashing with comms failures (or similar) when attempting to sign-up. Then I had to go through an ID verification process and some sort of credit check. I was then refused to use Bundll by the app as apparently my ID check failed (WTF) and I didn't meet the credit criteria (I have no debts and have over 1000 as a credit rating). The Bundll app then locked me out from using it and attempting to re-sign up I was refused.

Screw you Bundll for wasting my time and doing a credit check (not sure if it was a formal one) on me and then not trusting me when I'm legitimate. Absolutely pathetic. Think I'll just stick to earning points with credit cards in future.

I found it painful, but have signed up. Will make a (small) payment and hope the points come through.

Interesting I had the exact same experience.
My credit score is crystal clear/perfect and my ID could not be checked by Illion (While my Illion Credit Score has all the correct information and my credit score).

Teething issues I guess - not a good look. Oh well.
First BNPL - Last BNPL I will ever try.

Just reading people's feedback online regarding Bundll and there appears to be a lot of disgruntled people with their service. I was excited about another way of earning Velocity points (especially the bonus points). It's a pity Velocity couldn't partner up with Zip Pay or Latitude pay.

AfterPay clearly to me is the best BNPL offering on the market. Very widespread use in Australia and no credit checks unless you default on payments. Just wish they would offer earning Qantas points again.

Hopefully, the points come through and you don't need to fight for them.

I would also advise you to change your internet banking password because as you know the app wanted access to your internet banking as part of the financials check they do. Now the API used by the app for this check would be secure and clearly the big banks allow the practice, but noneoftheless change your password. This check alone would stop many using Bundll and rightly so.

The Bundll eDM went out today.

I have Bundll, although my use of it may be slightly naughty, but they have since blocked that anyway.

It's quite popular with young people, although given the velocity points earn, it now would seem to be a great way to double dip... Pay with Bundll (earn points), then pay the Bundll off with a points earning card?

Am I missing anything?

its not a credit check (no enquiry recorded)

from memory its only an ID check they did, like many other services do, inlcuding opening bank accounts.

Bundlls credit criteria may have nothing to do with debts or fictional credit ratiings, but rather how well your personal data matches up with other known records and certain other hotspots and flags they check against.

I can confirm that there is no credit check/enquiry on my file, and also no line of credit, or account recorded on my disclosable credit file.

What was everybody's limit given? I was only given $500 (not that it matters). My CreditSimple (Illion) score which I assume is where they go is 634 but was 523 a couple of days ago.

Well there is nothing wrong with my ID or financial situation. The bank account they checked had a substantial amount in it. Something must be buggy with their financial checking system or app itself. Anyway not bothering with them again I've been put off by the experience, especially now that the app has apparently blocked me like I'm some sort of liability. Going by reviews online I'm not the only one in an excellent financial situation to be refused.

Good luck to all that got through their gates.

As i said. Nothing to do with your financial situation, they dont even know it.

It could be your suburb is a hotspot for debt skippers or age combined with any other factor. You will never know. If its their system thats broken, then they gonna go broke.

They are a fast food shop for simple finance. Which means low tolerances and no desire to spend time on the odd disenfranchised customer. Its all a big numbers game for them

As an Australian company, and a Financial services firm, regulation is strong and they can't just sell off your details or break privacy laws.

This particular market offer seems to be specifically targeting small purchases which are "bundled" together.

Humm have other, larger credit offerings in market currently.
