I am looking at booking a domestic business fare.

I have 5 credit vouchers to use but would need to add some cash to this to pay for the flights.

I presume I’ll have to ring QF about booking this? I can’t see any way I can do this online.

Does anyone know what would happen if I have to unfortunately cancel this flight? Are all the vouchers reinstated separately? And would I be refunded the cash portion of the ticket in cash or would this also convert to a credit voucher. What I don’t wish to happen is that I end up with one large credit voucher to use.

Thank you for any help with this.

If only QF were as good as JQ. Mrsdrron has been able to use 2 JQ vouchers for a new flight and when it was cancelled got a cash refund.
So far hasn't worked out how to use multiple QF vouchers.

I am finding myself in a similar situation. I'm booking a Dec itinerary to Vancouver based on the presumption that international travel will be opened for NSW by then. When I got to the payment page, I was only allowed to use one credit voucher (I have 2 Travel Passes + 3 vouchers). It didn't seem possible to add multiple vouchers to complete the transaction.

I've asked this question on the Qantas facebook page and on their Instagram account but had no response.

Hopefully one of the more knowledgeable readers of this forum can offer some direction on this.

This is not really an answer to your question (and it's all dependant on price) but could you book two one way tickets to eat up an extra voucher ?

Yes, it's a possibility I had considered but as you said, the fares might discourage this. As it is, the current fares to Canada are already crazy enough, plus my Mrs will be travelling on this trip too and this idea can end up being messy. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I had the same issue and contacted Q via Twitter. Advised can use a Max of 4 vouchers. Took a week for booking to be made but still not finalised and waiting for the balance owing on 1 of the vouchers after another 10 days. Good luck

I think you need to call the customer service for this. I asked the question when they issued my travelpass and was told to call

@sanne as others have said you can combine upto 4 vouchers and needs to be done over the phone. Once combined, plus any additional cash becomes the new flight and if you cancel you will receive a single voucher to the total value. They do not revert to the 4 original credit values and the cash is not refunded. There are some ways of getting past this hurdle but it takes some effort. I would have thought that at the moment if you did combine and had to cancel a travel pass maybe the best option. It was suggested to book x2 one way fares (most likely to cost more) and as you can reuse vouchers you can combine up to 4, cancel and then combine with 3 others so in your case with a bit of planning and maybe an intermediary booking you could most likely get away with using you stockpile for a single return SYF-YVR. I am not familiar with the travel pass but understand it is like a debit card for one of a better word. I would have thought that you could start with the x3 vouchers and use any additional funds required from the travel passes. Good luck
