Business Saver Fares from NZ-AUS

Anyone else noticed the rediculously cheap J Savers available from AKL lately?

$500NZD one way incl. tax (<$400AUD).

Pretty good for SC's.

Don't seem to be able to get J Savers from AUS-NZ though.

Following you little hint, l just did a random Sydney to Berlin search, one on the German Qantas site and the other on the Australian site.

Talk about price difference and us Aussies getting ripped off!!!

Makes my blood boil

I went to xe.com and did a quick currency conversion and found the difference to be around $1000 in total.

Yes and anyone with a spare $2600.00 can experience Emirates A380 first class between SYD and AKL on Mon,Tues and Sat, albeit only for a few hours for the short hop to NZ.

Ok I'm officially sad now

$395 for J, when I paid $165 for a Y ticket. (Well need to see if the T&Cs allow changes/cancellations but guess its unlikely given my discounted ticket)

I believe the Qantas fares were originally loaded to match a sale from Air NZ.

Once again competition=good fares. No competition=bad fares...

Hmmm... Interesting.

I searched, booked and flew yesterday for $500 NZD in J.

Just did a search now for flights today AKL-SYD and back up to $1100 NZD.

Also the Emirates J fares have now gone to over $1000NZ each way.

If only I booked last night - would have been nice to experience Emirates J class on the A380
