In ROK, asked the security staff about an opening date for the QF lounge here and they had no idea. There is a place upstairs and it is currently empty, with no sign of a fitout. The terminal works look pretty well finished. There is a econd lounge which ROK has offered to VA and VA are apparently thinking about it.

ROK making a big deal in its display advertising, right next to the cafe adjacent to checkin, about how it has a cafe and bar airside. Must have been pretty pov before!

Airside ROK was a single big room with seats - just like (but probably smaller than) a SIN gate area after security. It does have toilets in it - but that is it. A couple of television sets on the wall, seats and nothing else.

Virgin are still procrastinating about re opening their Cairns lounge. Don't fancy the chances of them opening a Rockhampton Lounge!!

I'm sitting under what looks like a vast upstairs lounge(s) footprint. Didn't realise ROK was so different, so knocking up a trip report with pics
