Hopefully this is temporary and doesn’t become a global enhancement?
From what I read some properties have minimal or no breakfast available so they are giving a credit instead so you could use it later in the day. So the credit would be enough to cover breakfast or you could use it towards dinner is how I think it works.

Well I can bet on at least 2 things here.

1. This will NOT just be a 6 month trial.

2. It will soon be extended to all Hilton GLOBAL properties "to ensure consistency". (Coff)

I am Diamond as well and I have not heard anything from Hilton.
