Qantas to fast track airline loyalty program status

I did my 100 on Points Club rewards flights. After qualifying, I received an email 4 days later to confirm completion of the fast track. It updated in the mobile app and website 2 days later. In the meantime the app card was showing Qantas Club. Status for me is until Feb 2023.
 
Received Double SC in my account this (Thursday) morning for flights taken on Tuesday, enough to push me over the line. A couple of hours later logged in to QFF and Gold status there, and digital card now showing as Gold until Sep 2022 (my anniversary date)

Did the bonus SCs arrive at the same time as the base SCs? Playing the waiting game for my bonus to land, albeit for a flight only taken this morning 😂
 
Took 3 flights today, bit of a status run to get the 100 SC n they all credited within 30mins on landing, little amazing.
Now to see how long before genuine Gold is placed. Not fussed really.

IMO still prefer Virgin Gold service, but hey that's just me.
I didn't apply for DSC offer, in on the Aldi version.
 
Still waiting 5 days later, this makes me nervous. What’s the process to follow up with QF?
You can call or e-mail the Frequent Flyer Service Centre but they generally won't touch any DSC claims until after 6 weeks has passed (per the T&C's). If they won't help because of this maybe mention the time sensitiveness because of the fast track. Be prepared to have a copy of the confirmation e-mail you got when you enrolled for the offer as they sometimes ask for this and the respective booking reference numbers. Each time I've called to do this — the agent has done it whilst I waited on the phone after verifying that all the bookings were eligible so it's a mostly painless process (most of the time, not always).

Took 3 hours on the phone this morning to get thru to change a flight later in the year, in which I was on another call & asked to have call back which I missed.

Had to call back & found out it was premium line (as gold kicked in) as call staffer told me & took only an hour to get thru, which IMO is still too long, but better. Never takes that long to get thru to premium VA line.
Great to have more members QF, but need to have equally more staff in call center.
 
Level up to WP and you'll find that generally the wait times are much more acceptable than for SG. I agree making a SG wait an hour is way too long.

Massively unimpressed with QF. Rang today to check on my missing double SCs and was told due to a system upgrade they would call me back in 24 hours. Seems strange to upgrade your systems on a Monday morning...
 
Got 75 sc's from a new credit card.
Challenge 90 days from 10 March. Booked a Gov cheap Perth-Darwin return 6-8 May for the rest!!!!!!!!!
Well we will see if it is cancelled or leaves without quarantine required. Or running out of time to get those extra 25sc's!!! If you are doing the challenge do you get in the lounge. My membership on the computer still says bronze.(i dont do apps) Do they sort it at the airport.?

The current challenge isn't 90 days it's up to 31 July. This means you have until 31 July to get the 100 status credits.

Nope. Your account would have been updated with Qantas club, log in and on the main my account page scroll down. You should find the following:Screen Shot 2021-05-03 at 5.49.53 pm.png

I have just read the confirmation email. (but its 11/1/21) The challenge I am on is 100 SC's in a 90 day period.! last commencement date of the 90 days is March 31, so there must be another one.
Thanks for your help but I actually rang Qantas just now, and only 5 minutes to get through...whow! They said take the confirmation email into the club lounge and flash it at them, and they know if you are on a challenge you get access.But will check this as your advice too.

I know my way around Virgins system but not Q, however hedging my bets once we get let out of Alcatraz-Oz).

Now all I need is for Perth not to be locked down and i will be flying on Thursday.

There's plenty you can learn on AFF. If in doubt, ask a question. On QF you may wish to check seat selection again just after T-80 (80 hours before your flight) if you want to sit closer to the front of the plane.

Yes I've just discovered that for my flight out. Up from row 15 to row 8, but will review again closer to departure as top preference is to have middle seat free next to you even if you are closer to back. cheers again.
The WA entry G2G is quite a form to fill in too for re-entry (done it in Jan too). NT entry form ok.

Agree, 1A,C came up yesterday for tonights flight, which my wife hates because no seatback video and no underseat stowage.

Which card was this? I am due for a new one and only getting 40 SC from a trip to NZ I booked today and missed out on the double status promo.
