Hi,

Just looking at some options for a trip later in the year, and noticed Minneapolis in the Destination drop-down on the VA website. I did a search on here; nothing has been mentioned so I thought I'd say something.

The LAX-MSP sector is on Northwest - so presumably we're going to see a bunch of NW/DL destinations show up soonish?

Also, it seems Portland has been added as a destination; the carrier for LAX-PDX is AS (no surprises there).

For someone who knows - what happens if you book a Premium fare on VA through to MSP? Is the LAX-MSP sector booked in to domestic First?

I am quite enjoying this "slow release", where will they go next?

First up, SEA with AS. Released just prior to the bumbling Branson's Global Virgin spin. [Subtly letting us know that VX is not going to be an important partner.]

Godfrey's announcement that USA VS corporates would become VA corporates. (Indicating that VA is leveraging its brand relationship, to its advantage.)

Now, MSP. A massive SkyTeam hub.

Ohhh, exciting...

I'm sure most people reading this already know this, but Northwest was the first (and only?) partner announced by V Australia. This was before the Delta "merger", though.

(I'd post a link but since I'm currently in the "under 10" club, I can't - LOL - google can quickly find the press release, though.)

Is this the one you were after?
