What day was your flight? Wondering how far they are backdating the credit..Yes. I have been awarded 72 SCs for QF93 MEL to LAX, in J Classic Award (so U class). Which matches the table linked. I'm pretty happy with that SC earn rate (or any, really) for a Classic Rewards flight so thumbs up from me.

Thanks, good to know.It was 03/03, so perhaps to the start of the month?
Say for example you were doing HEL-DOH-SIN-SYD. GCMapper has this as 10,496miles so in the table that can be read as 64 SC in U
Guessing you had it post as 0 points and 0 SC within a few days of the flight, to only have a second entry within the last day or so with just the SC only?

Thanks. Only reason why I ask is that my flight from a couple of days ago has posted in line with a normal time frame, but the ones from last week are still in their original 0 points and 0 SC entry and not been replaced like yours from the start of the month.Great question, I didn't even think to check this and now that I have, I can see that the new entry has replaced the 0 SC, 0 points entry from before. Both descriptions are identical but I no longer have the original entry which was previously logged on the day of departure. The reason I know this is the case is because I record the transactions in google docs where I can see the entry from 03/03, but in my account statement on the QF site it's not longer there and the SC award entry is from 16/03
The problem is you can't book HEL-DOH-SIN on a QF flight number so won't earn SC on those legs, only SIN-SYD.
Nothing for me... and I'm showing as Points Club Plus!Great question, I didn't even think to check this and now that I have, I can see that the new entry has replaced the 0 SC, 0 points entry from before. Interesting that for travel in J, the SC earn rate is better for shorter flights, eg:
I feel as though because I've qualified for PP+ (by a couple of weeks) even though I had some classic award flights in December which would qualify, I didn't receive the SC as it hasn't registered that at that time I would have been a PP member.
Qantas website said:Status Credits will only be earned on Classic Flight Rewards if the flight is marketed or ticketed as ‘QF’, if the member is a Points Club or Points Club Plus member at the time of flying, and if the member’s Qantas Frequent Flyer number is added to the booking.
I guess it should as long as your QFF number is in the booking. I once redeemed AA miles for MEL to PER and upgraded to J with QFF points in the lounge so I guess they had to put my QFF number in the booking.Does anyone know if you would earn status credits as a Points Club member for an award booking made with another frequent flyer program, such as a Qantas flight booked using Avios or Asia Miles?
I note that the Qantas website says you would earn as long as your QFF number is added to the booking. That should be possible, even if you booked using another FF program.
Do we now know the answer to this question? I have an ADL-CBR U-class flight booked with avios coming up shortly, and the SC's would be very handy in getting to 100 SC's in the current Qantas Status Fast Track offer. I do have my Qantas FF No. in the booking.Does anyone know if you would earn status credits as a Points Club member for an award booking made with another frequent flyer program, such as a Qantas flight booked using Avios or Asia Miles?
