cruise lines are cancelling most or all cruises out of China & many out of Asia & relocating ships, up to 10 it seems to OZ.

So, cruises will get really cheap due to economy & massive competition, so many Australians will need to get to departure ports. Some of these ships hold 5000 people or more, not including staff.

Wouldn't surprise me if some of the cruise lines are going to have to park their ships, much like the Chinese airlines.

The whole episode of this spreading and the quarantine requirements are going to put people off cruising

I'd assume parking a huge boat is not as easy as parking an aircraft.

Boats that take 5000 passengers have something like 1500 staff. Cruise lines would be better running on much smaller profit forecast.

+ many cruises give you the cabin cheap & stick it to you for drinks etc. & as everything is charged to your cabin on all or most cruise lines, people spend away & then have a huge bill to pay at end, cos hard to keep track of spending.
