So, what music are you listening to now?

Just recently (a few years ago) played sunshine of your love and back in the ussr in a cover band. Much fun! Great tunes.

Edit: just waiting to board a flight in BKK and a guy next to me started watching YouTube, So on go the headphones - my current work/life background music is Alien Weaponry, a Maori metal band. When most of the words aren't in English it helps to drown the background without being distracting!

Earlier today I played a couple of sides of The Beatles 1967-1970, vinyl of course, including Back in the USSR, Ob La Di Ob La Da, Here Comes the Sun, etc,etc

I still have all my vinyls dating back to 1974. We often use the turntable for some nostalgic evenings.

BTW. @GPH’s ringtone is “When I’m Sixty-Four”

He’s actually humming it right now

Just watched Woodstock. Great music.

My kids think I’m mad when I say my biggest regret in life was missing out on Woodstock. I was such a hippie back in the day!

SBS tonight had another Freddie Mercury show with a lot of his time apart from Queen.Called The Great Pretender.

Now @GPH is playing this clip. King Freddie. One of the best!

Having heard a little of her, I'm about to explore Yasmine Hamdan.
I'm pretty sure she's from Lebanon and I would describe what I have heard so far as haunting Middle Eastern.

Every time I come to Launceston I hear this song.Got to know it quite well.Sing along loudly-with windows up in the car. o_O

A little over a week ago the news on the car radio was all about the fires. The first song that was played after the news was this song. For some reason I can't get it out of my head.
