Hi all, Sorry if this is in the wrong section, unsure where to post.

We have booked a RTW airfare and are confused as to how to FF points/SC's will work.

The itinerary is MEL-SIN, QF. SIN-FRA, LH. FRA-BHX, LH. BHX-ZRH, LX. ZRH-JFK, LX. LAX-MEL, QF. QF legs I, LH/LX legs P.

I think that LX is the ticketing airline, ticket # starts with 724.

As far as I know QF is not affiliated with LH or LX so not sure why LX would use them.

I have put the details into where to credit

Any advice?

You can credit individual sectors to the program of your choice. The airlines noted are not all members of a single common FF program alliance, but obviously have a commercial agreement to deliver this particular RTW fare product, partly because there is no Star Alliance member operating Australian domestic flights.

So the best program to credit each sector will depend on which programs you are already aligned with. Obviously the QF fights can credit to you QFF membership, but the LH/LX flights won't earn anything on QFF and the QF flights won't earn anything on any Star Alliance programs.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Hi NM,

Thank you for the welcome & also for fixing the thread title.

The results from wheretocredit were throwing me as it was showing no QF FF points to be earned, even if I broke it down to individual flights.

We are with UA MP so hopefully can have the LH/LX legs credited there, will try adding it to the booking.

Thanks for the advice.

You can always call QF Reservations (and be prepared for a long hold time) and ask them to add your QFF number to the QF segments. You may not be able to do it on-line.

Yeah, can't find a way of adding them online, though the booking shows in QF FF account.

Have asked the TA who did the booking to add them for us.

cheers
