I am about to fly back to Oz via Jakarta with 6h layoff.
Can anyone recommend any pay for use lounge access or just shower facilities at Jakarta airport? I can't find any info on the airport web site?

If it's from T3, as most international flights are, here is an option for paid lounge access which includes showers (2 hours) or paid shower access only (30 mins):

Mind you, all of T3 is a bit on the warm side. I've used the showers in this lounge. They weren't really the best, but OK. But I think I was more "moist" afterwards than before.

If you don’t want to stay at the airport there are plenty of cheap hotels near by. The Ibis budget often has rooms for around $30.
Agree wholeheartedly about T3 being like an oven whenever we have been there.

And there is an airport transit hotel in T2.

It's pretty good. And can be booked for a 6 hours stay. Just take the free airport sky train there. But it's land-side of course whereas the lounge option above is air-side.
