Hi,
I have a few hotels to book over the next few weeks .
I am wondering if anyone can remember if Qantas Hotels offered extra points earning on last year's Black Friday.
I am booking mostly hotels in the UK and Europe and other sites' prices are a little lower than on QF.
Points earning bonus may push me over the edge to use Qantas site.

why do you assume that any online site is cheapest ?

Dodgy advertising by the likes of trivago ?

Our experience is hotel wholesalers are almost always cheaper or offer free stuff like breakfast at same price. Admittedly, wholesalers are cheaper as they don't offer the same number of hotels in any one place, but get better deals by concentrating their bookings.

Ta for that .
And there's something about your name .
It reminds me of something .
Can you explain what you mean by wholesalers - I want to understand what you are saying as we stay in lots of hotels round the world?

say there are 100 hotels in 1 location.

Generally, wholesalers deal with only say 10 & get better deals than online sites that offer everyone of 100.

Some wholesalers only deal with travel agents, some with anyone.

There are specialist wholesalers. Some only do ski resorts, some only do certain countries/regions.

Have yet to find any online rates, that can even come close to snow wholesalers rates & deals.

Do a search online for hotel wholesalers in Australia
