Flying QF1 17/10. I read somewhere qf lounge serves Singapore Slings. I have fond memories of imbibing this drink 60 years ago. My memory is it was yum & had a hit like a mule. I will go into the lounge but also will spend time looking for pharmac_ that sells melatonin. Years ago in the terminal I found a tiny pharmac_ that sold the best melatonin that actually worked, hoping to get decent melatonin again. I use it for travel & jet lag.
After all the preamble if you have had ‘the sling’, what are your thoughts re taste & enjoyment? Actually just want a taste, no hit.😇

Yeah that lounge does have a coughtail bar; makes sense they’d do a Singapore Sling, given the location. :)

It was probably about 3yrs ago we were there, but the food was really good. Not heaps of choice, only two mains from memory, but the two choices were really nicely cooked/prepped.

I agree re: melatonin. We get it from Costco in the USA.

Re: the sling. The FS Singapore has had them delivered to our room before (and getting them in the bar).... love them!

Not sure of the source of Singapore melatonin, but the stuff in Oz is useless. The USA had the real stuff when I last bought it some years back.
Aussie stuff is herbal only. Useless. I picked up the real stuff in USA in July, with one batch like the chewy sweets like you can get vitamins in Australia. And they work just fine as well.
