Looking to buy some Aadvantage miles before the promo ends, but it keeps refusing my payment, do I need to do something with the postcode/address as I'm in Australia?

I've been on the phone to my CC company but they are saying they are not seeing that I've tried to put through the payment so i'm guessing it is something to do at AA's end.

I never had issues with the process for a number of years, but did with my last two recent transactions. I changed my country location to the US, and added a zero to my postcode, which allowed payment to be effected.

Yep tried that, still not working :(

Got it sorted out in the end, used a different CC, they flagged it as fraud, authorised it, went through fine after, no idea why it wasn't showing at the other CC

Wasn’t the Qantas credit card by any chance?

We have 4 AA accounts and it is rather handy to have a US Citi AA credit card for both Mrscove and myself. Buying AA Miles is simple using these cards and takes a very short time.

Another quick question about buying miles, I max'd out on the recent promotion and bought 150,000 with the 100,000 bonus, when can i next buy miles again as a need a very small top up?

Is the year from when I first joined? if so that was Oct 2017 so not long to wait, or is per financial year, or per year eg 2019?

Per calender year.

Edit: Buy more from 1st January, as you have already maxed out for 2019

Do you have any of the family with an AA account?
