Failed Airlines That Were Too Weird For This World

think a lot of these started as charters to get people to casinos esp in vegas. The casino subsidised the flights & hotel room costs, then guests dropped a bundle. Much easier for airlines like Allegiant to do those flights. They started with old MD80s, which apparently they bought a lot of them for USD$1m each & flew them only when needed.
