As a starting point the following thread will give you more information than you will ever need as to how to find the flights irrespective as to whether you are booking a round the world trip or single flights

Assuming you have points in the QFF program then once you have identified the flights with availability then depending on the OW partner airline you can do it on the QF website or you will need to call qantas to book.

A little more information would be useful. What sort of flights are you looking to book (e.g. round the world, a couple of domestic Australian flights, Europe to South America)? What onewold frequent flyer points are you looking to use?
