I have *A return to USA booked with Krisflyer. Tried to get them to price the infant on lap ticket and was asked to check with a travel agent and they couldn't do it. I remember getting them to do it for *A return to EU with just one *A airline and all SQ. Not sure why this cannot be done?

My flights are all SQ except one AirCanada and one LH. 6 segments altogether.

Anyone with recent experience and tips?

Infant award tickets are quite a pain with KrisFlyer. Basically, my understanding is that you cannot add the lap infant at the time of booking the adults' flights. After booking, you would need to contact the operating airline/s and pay 10% of the normal fare for the lap infant. If your booking has three different operating airlines, I think that means repeating the process three times - and doing this on partner airlines (other than SQ) is more painful than if you're just using SQ. I would reconsider the Air Canada and Lufthansa sectors, to be honest.

Correct, you can’t add the infant at the same time. But I’m trying to add the infant after getting the *A return issued by SQ. I don’t understand how they can’t price 10% of the commercial value of that ticket?

They should be able to price 10% of the commercial tickets for the SQ sectors. But when partner airlines become involved it all gets very messy. I think you need to contact the partner airlines to do this.

Sorry that I can't really offer much more help, but keep trying!
