Sickies....or chronic understaffing?
Adequate staffing has to include an expectations that a certain number of sickies occur . The “spin” is that that number is greater than usual. But I don’t know if the reality is something elseSickies....or chronic understaffing?
Apparently airlines are starting to cancel mainly domestic flights tomorrowQuickstatus, from previous reports months or longer ago this isn't the only occurrence.
Is this due to some wage/salary union campaign, genuine sickness or desire on the part of some staff to have the full weekend off?

A reroute from QF9 could get to SIN on QF71 (or one of the 4 SQ flights), then onto QF1, BA12 or BA16 (or one of the 4 SQ flights).May be true, but unfortunately via SIN on EK is slow given the additional stop in DXB.
