G'day all,

I have the following booked on a classic award for next March.

11MAR09 BA27 LHR-HKG in J
12MAR09 QF68 HKG-PER in J
13MAR09 QF476 PER-MEL in J

(The route above displays the lengths I'm prepared to go for J over Y on the way home :D)

Unfortunately due to a change in plans for a friend travelling, I have been frantically looking at any J options home on the 12th of March from LHR with seats only available on the 8/16/19 MAR (I'm a PS if that makes any difference?).

Anyway, I jumped on earlier today to check for any changes in J availability and noticed that QF are now offering F award seats for EVERY day on QF metal travelling LHR-MEL. Is this normal?

If only they could offer the same availability for J :lol:

I am seeing a classic J seat on Mar 12th LHR-HKG on QF30, but am unfortunately "stuck" there. :(

Back in April when I searched for P inventory (using AA miles; I believe that's the same inventory for classic F) for Feb09, they were only available about once or twice a week and only on QF30. Now they're available everyday, and most days there's a choice of both flights. Too late - already talked myself into extending my trip with a Prague visit.
